    Burning Man vs Zozobra

#1Townie posted a link to Burning Man Festival and the funny thing is my hometown of Santa Fe NM is doing their annual event called Zozobra that is very similar; we burn a giant puppet too. I never realized these two events occured at a similar time during the year.

Zozobra: est 1924 (90 year anniversary)
    Burning Man: est 1986

    Zozobra: Burns Tonight (8/29)
    Burning Man: Burns Tomorrow (8/30)

    Zozobra:

That is cool! You should really try to make it down one year because it is a huge fiesta (party) that goes on the entire weekend. After Zozobra burns everyone goes down to the plaza for food, drinks, dancing, and just a huge party. Seeing Zozobra on video is cool but in person it is amazing as you really see how large it is and how many people there are!

Heck let me know next year and I would be down to go....I'd get us free room and board as all my family is down there.
