P2P at Dawn

So Cat had this idea what we should get up early and watch the sunrise from the mountains. With the weather cooling off our window to make this happen was closing fast. Got up at 5AM this morning, hit the road at 5:30 and settled in around 6:30 North of Nederland.

Around 7:15 we headed towards Lyons. We had the P2P basically too ourselves and after the tires warmed up we set a very nice pace going down Hwy 7, breakfast in Lyons then off to work for the day. I've done a lot of rides this summer and this was one of my favorites by far.

Wasn't it kinda cold this morning up there?
I love going for a ride before work, makes the rest of the day a whole lot better, feels like being high the whole time lol.

Nice pictures. I should take more pics/vids of my morning rides. Live at the top of Golden Gate and have to ride to Golden for work when I'm in town. My weekend rides tend to start just as the sun is coming up.
