So, I spent a couple days in Birmingham Alabama. It was rainy .. what better than to look at bikes.

Too bad the track day season is pretty much over, looked like a fun track with elevation and flowing corners. If you're ever out in Alabama you owe it to yourself to spend a couple days at the Barber Motorsports Museum.
If I win the lottery, I kinda want my garage to look like this.

There are street bikes now that rival or surpass the RC, but funny how that is. I still drool over the 80's sportbikes like the RC, the Fizzers and the early gixxers with their two headlight bug eyes.

You should! Not only are there exquisite examples of nice bikes, but iconic race bikes, and very rare one of a kind bikes. Apparently I was told they have so many bikes that there are some never before seen ones hidden in the basement; the collection rotates. I saw at least 3 different RC30s.

F1 and Lotus displays are pretty dang impressive too. The grounds all around the museum and track are golf-course like. The entire complex, as well as the city of Birmingham, is very nice. Just be warned, the summer heat and humidity there is stifling. Riding in that heat in July was not one of my better ideas.
