That's a bad ass looking bike Aaron. Needs a sticker or something to break up all that black on the belly pan though.

Thanks guys, and yes, the belly pan has a plan in the works. Right now I'm trying to decide if I should order the front fender, tank cover, and rear hugger in carbon fiber or not.

Nice addition man. I have 34k on mine and it's still going strong. Amazing bike and the 2015 is even more impressive.

Ya I'm honestly shocked at how bulletproof it's been. 15,000 miles on mine without a single issue, and it's no stranger to 14,200 rpm or track days.

I'm thinking this bike will be a long term machine for me, that I'll own for a long time to come. I can't see wanting or needing anything else accessory wise. Cruise control was my biggest request.

Does the factory cruise control have a max speed limit built in?

The 13 Fjr came with cruise control for the first time but it was speed limited to 80mph. For 2014 they raised the max to 100mph.

    not sure about 2015.

Not that I'm aware of, though I'm not sure to be honest.

That's ridiculous! 80? Haha wow. I mean 100 is better but that's still low. I encounter situations, err race tracks and privately owned and maintained roads, where 120 is good.

2015 looks to be an interesting year for new bikes. The BMW aside, all the major players have something to showcase that appeals to the masses. Let 2015 work out some of the kinks and 2016 looks ripe for an upgrade!!

Congrats. It sounds like a beast of a bike from the reviews I have read.

As far as I know the RR does not get the new BMW keyless, proximity based touch and go system which saddens me, I believe it'll still need the key. Bummer.

The red and white has grown on me, a lot. I have decided against repainting it. I will be ordering the rear tire hugger and chain guard in carbon fiber, but that's it. And the belly pan still has something in the works, but it won't be CF. I decided to keep the airbox cover, front fender, and reae seat cover red as opposed to carbon fiber.

Other than me changing my mind, no updates.

I know right!? All his next beemer will need is an automatic transmission and a computer system that does all the riding inputs for him and he'll be set!

Oh and you don't have to worry about quoting me, Aaron and I kissed and made up finally.

I'm actually really open to letting other people ride my bikes. Believe it or not Dano was the first one to ride it. I bought it today and didn't even ride it, he rode it home from the dealer. In fact I wasn't even going to ride it until he made me, and even then I only took it around the block.

That actually might look really good. I'm going to consider that. I was going to have the black lower plastics painted with a Colorado flag, but Dano thinks it'd be too much color and I think I agree. It'd work on my frozen gray bike but not this one.

The bike is pretty amazing, I'll type a more in depth review when I've ridden it more and feel better. Unfortunately it does not have the keyless touch and go, or the LED turn signals, because it is a pre production model. But it's got everything else, DDC, DTC, ABS, launch control and cruise control, heated grips, quickshifter pro, and the forged wheels with a 200 rear.

    Apparently I'm Dano now.

Yeah, in a strange form of weirdness, Aaron, who just bought a brand new S1000RR, insisted that I ride it first. As odd as I found it, how could I say no!

I must say, that bike is freaking phenomenal! I'm not an inline fan at all, but that thing is pretty damn cool.

Keyless start on a bike its very convenient. Don't have to worry about having keys anymore. Definitely a feature I would like to have on my next bike. Grt bike Aaron.
