Close trails to denver or just fun off road type "trails / fire roads " etc ?

I'm in thornton actually but looking for something within half hour to me - I work in the dtc so stuff down south would be great as well! Not looking for really amazing trails (unless they are super close to me). Is there any good spots that super close ?

    Thanks all!

You can definitely go from Idaho Springs to Rollinsville completely on dirt ('cept for a little pavement in Central City). I've also heard you can continue to Nederland through Eldora, but never confirmed it.
