    Sepang I - 2015

In case anyone cares, Sepang 1 testing just wrapped up late last night. All riders are looking good over the three day haul. Looks like another four way fight for the top aliens. Can't really take Ducati's times into consideration, Open Bikes were running softer tires(does show Ducati making progress though, which is very good). I am glad to see Suzuki making some excellent progress and to see Vinales right close to his teammate. Also what's Melandri's deal???

What's insane is that seven riders dipped below the 2:00 barrier. Marquez just went beast mode for his 58.8 lap.

That's well below the Sepang record. Looking forward to the season, we'll have to see what happens with the next tests and first race of the season.

If the times stay this consistent it should be a great season, Yamaha gets their new seamless transmission soon so that should help but even the Satellite teams closing in on the top times. Very impressed by Ducati and their pace. Should be a hell of a season and a much more action packed one hopefully rather than seeing Marquez pull away into the distance lol

Yes should be interesting with their new seam-less trans. What's more ominous for everyone is that Pedrosa on his race simulation did 10 laps in a row under 2:01(all 2:00 and change). Marquez, Lorenzo and Rossi all had five laps or less under 2:01. Which you can't read into a ton because they all did their race sims at different times. I know Rossi had some traffic for his, same with Lorenzo.

I agree, I'd like to see more competitive races. It makes for good racing and hard racing. I don't even care if Marquez wins it again, just would rather see him fight more for it. I don't mind the occasional blowout, everyone likes seeing someone stomp all over the competition. Yet, you want the competition to step up and offer some serious fight 99% of the time. I honestly think we'll see more winners this year. I know Marquez will be dominant but if the other three aliens can give him a fight, it won't be over til the fat lady sings.
