Trailer rental

We're taking a road trip to Phoenix in late March. I'm thinking of renting a trailer and taking the motorcycle with me for some riding in the area. I'll have to rent one from UHaul or Parker Trailers. Parker Trailer recommended an enclosed trailer but it's $65/day. Should I rent an enclosed one from UHaul or go with a standard open trailer? I've never hauled a bike that far and am not sure about potential paint damage.

The standard 4x9 uhaul motorcycle trailer works great, and the front and sides are all built up to where there is little to no chancell of rock damage. At $14.99/day it's a great option.
