    Winter Mode CSC

Yeah it's very much Winter mode for me. Anxious for the racing season(MotoGP in particular). Thankfully WSBK know how to kick off a season and already have a couple races in the books. But here's what I did today to satiate the urge for riding. Especially for myself as I'll be doing strictly track days this year. I snagged some used race fairings that were for sale here a couple weeks ago. Finally took some time to get them on today.

And here's how I've felt all Winter long with no track riding

BeIN Sports on channel 553, cable. Can't remember what it was on DirectTV, had it saved as a favorite so just clicked on that when I wanted to watch it.

    Re: Winter Mode CSC

I only saw this one on the listing, there's one scheduled for tomorrow at the same time but who knows if it's a repeat. I don't follow WSBK much so not sure how their schedules work ... Insane finish and also just a close race and battles from the first to the last lap, can't go wrong with that. Hopefully GP will be just as good this season and not just same old boring Marquez pulling away

WSBK usually do two rounds per weekend for the Superbikes. Supersport is one race.

Unfortunately, as wonderful as your invitation sounds, I must decline. See it's not very warm right now. I'm a warm/hot weather kind of guy. Even 73 degrees doesn't sound tempting at all. 83 degrees and we're talking. Or 93 degrees and then we're cooking with gas. Hotter the better. Being a born and raised native I just can't stomach trying to have fun in cold weather. I have to work in it for a living, so I don't really care to recreate in it. I'm also a Summer baby, so my roots lie with the heat of the year.

I'm actually planning for the April 12th(I believe) Open Lapping day at PMP. Hoping temps will be at least in the upper 70's by then, and we'll be having warmer mornings by then as well. That's what gets me right now. Yeah it may be 73 this coming Saturday. But it's still March, which means I wouldn't get on the track until the afternoon session(s).

    Thanks though

    Re: Winter Mode CSC

^ I like it when it's melt your face off hot as well, just seems right to me. But I'd still do afternoon sessions if it's in the 70s.

Pueblo though, I wish they'd at least staff enough corners to have eyes on riders at all times. and an ambulance would be nice. I'd really like to get down there for an open lapping on a non race weekend, so if they run a full staffed lapping day someone let me know.

There's also the option of a race scool. Someone used to run one there, donno if they still do? The name sounded like Nick "Inasch" but I can't remember how to spell it.

So you're a fair weather rider ? Neat.

It's 67 degrees tomorrow, that's even warm for my Florida ass. But I like riding motorcycles. ... so I've even rode in the 50s at HPR

70 degrees is perfect for track riding IMO given you're not sweating your ass off (literally) and you don't get fatigued/dehydrated as fast. Those 80+ days during track/race days are brutal
