Ok, so I wrecked my track bike last year and cracked my subframe. I have a 2005 SV650 that I bought already track prepped so I assumed it had a 2005 subframe. I ordered one off ebay and it fits the bike and battery tray just fine. The problem is that my old seat has much more narrow mounting tabs on the front and the seat is now moved too far forward to sit flush on the battery/gas tank. I am confused because I cannot find any information regarding different subframes or seats for the SV from 2005-present (I bought what was sold as a 2005-2008 subframe). I was under the impression that they were all interchangeable. Any help would be great as I don't want to order another seat and have it not fit.
