Deckers ride Sunday 3/15/15

So I know many of the canyon roads still have too much sand, but it's just gonna be so nice on Sunday, that we have to at least give it a shot! I'm thinking KSU from Moco around 11:00am to avoid that early morning chill . Pace will depend on the roads, but probably a tad on the mellow side.

Glad to hear it was a good ride! As I passed by the turn for Deckers, I saw a flatbed tow truck turn down the road, was hoping it wasn't somebody here.

thanks Dave for posting up a ride on such a nice day! great to get out and about, sorry to see a biker down on Deer creek road, hope his is ok. Did feel like I was at the beach with all the sand and squids frolicking about....

What a great day for a ride it was! Fyi the rider that crashed on Deer Creek gave me the thumbs up when I rode by so I think he is alright.

good to hear, I wasn't referring to him as a squid, was referring to the riders going up a horsepower hill, with their adidas tennis shoes and no gloves

They need a lesson in proper riding etiquette.. doubt it would help though since it's more like common sense, which none seemed to possess.

Roads still pretty poor and sandy?

Deckers is still pretty sandy from hp hill to Deckers, but not too bad from 285 all the way to hp hill. Deer Creek and Highgrade were much better than expected. Foxton is still a bit dirty towards the bottom. Squaw is still dirty, with some big areas of water running across the road.
