Don't hate cause you are too short to touch the ground.

In all seriousness, the 14 is the longest sportbike I have ever owned. So, I completely understand the land yacht reference.

Maybe look into a Yamaha FZ1?

    Re: Switching/Upgrading...

If you are wanting something more upright the Z1000, S1000R, FZ1, etc all fit the bill. The other big difference between those and the super sport (race replica, RR, etc) motorcycles is they are tuned for more mid range power instead of the top end. The 600/1000 super sports are tuned for high rpm peak horsepower, which isn't necessarily the best for street riding. While keeping a 600 wound out on the track is fun, mid range torque is nice on the street. I'd say go to a dealer and sit on some bikes, see what feels good, what you like etc.

Not interested in BMW s1000 RR..... just BMW s1000R (single R). its a naked version of their supersport bike. Same engine detuned to have lower power, but stronger mid range. Its also ergonomically different where the rider sits more up right...

    here is the visual difference

Most people I have come across with a land yacht are large and stubby. They have already lowered the bike so I've been able to have my feet flat on the ground on all the ones I've tried out lol

I'm large but not stubby. I was actually going to buy a Busa the day I got my 14. The 14 fit me better. SO glad I went with the Kawi.

On the other hand, i may sell the bike completely and not go with anything for a while... that though has crossed my mind as well.
i am gonna become a father in a month and i feel like investing into some kind of off road moto sport that i can do with my future kids(atv type of deal)...
