AMA Pro Racing also announced that the Pikes Peak Raceway event in Fountain, Colo., has been officially removed from the schedule due to the sale and slated closure of the facility. As previously announced, AMA Pro Racing officials continue to discuss the disposition of that event with the new owners since the parties have a binding contract for 2006.
