It was very hoppy like a IPA though.

Pale ale, correct. I had ipa on my mind. Went to buy another , but Bonnie Brae liquor does not carry. Ended up with some Dale's Pale Ale. Never go wrong with Dale's

Hey Nate do you know of any other places that sell that 5054 beer or whatever it was called that we used to drink at Champs before they shut down? I still can't believe they packed up and left.... beeshes, their bacon tacos and most of their menu was pretty good too. Only decent place to watch UFC fights too.

It is actually made by New Belgium right here in Fort Collins so I am sure a lot of places sell it; I see it at most liquor stores.

Heck we can even got our the Brewery; heard it is cool
http://www.newbelgium.com/Brewery.aspx <---damn although seem like they get booked up fast and appointments go out pretty far

Here is a handy webpage that shows where most beers are on tap (shows 1554 on tap around town): http://www.newbelgium.com/beer/finder.aspx

Yeah sucks Champps went under....no idea why other than maybe it is because they were owned by the same company that owns The Fox and Hounds so maybe they just left those instead. Dumb because I thought Champps was way better than F&H.

I've done the New Belgium tour, it was both interesting and fun to do. I like most of their beers, Fat Tire is kind of my go to if nothing else, 1554 is good as well.

I'm generally not a fan of IPA either. A friend from work recommended http://www.firestonebeer.com/beers/products/union-jack although I mistakenly ended up buying http://www.firestonebeer.com/beers/products/double-jack . It was the first IPA I've actually thought I might buy more of. I've never tried the Union Jack though, after reading the descriptions I find it unlikely I would like it.

I will say beer drinkers have it pretty good around here, there is a huge range of quality options. I'll often grab something new to try along with a favorite when I'm buying some.

If you want to try a bunch out without having to go all over town, then check out the bar called The Pint Room!

175 beers on tap and all are local micro-brews…some great food too!

Yeah that is what the wife and I do; ride the bike path there. They have a nice patio too so it is cool place to sit and drink a beer when it is nice out.

John, you got my number so hit me up if you ever want company there. We usually go on Wednesday's about 5 for their happy hour; $3 or $4 pints or whiskeys.
