I would be down if the weather is nice. I need to wear my tires out so I can put the new stickier set on! What time would everyone be wanting to do?

It looks like the rain is going to be in afternoon, so I would say the earlier the better.. Maybe 9:30 or 10am?

I think it will be fine honestly. I've been looking at weather in Nederland (just as a reference) and it should be in the 50's by 11:00. That's warm enough for me. I'll probably start off wearing 3 or 4 layers and bring my backpack and adjust accordingly. May need to pick up some warmer gloves before then though. I'm itching to get out into the mountains. it's been like 3 weeks for me w/ the shit weather and having my bike in for service.

Weather forecast is getting better. Looking like only a 30% chance for isolated showers in the afternoon. Not bad! and if it does start raining I'm sure we can get out of it quickly or stop somewhere for 20 minutes and it will pass.

Yeah it's getting better for sure!
Try some thin doc or mechanics gloves under your normal gloves. Makes a huge difference.

I could do that if I go. I'll know more as the weekend gets closer. How long of a ride is everyone thinking?

Did everyone decide on a time to meet? I will only have a couple hours to ride, so just want to plan my day out.

Re: Hoping for the weather to change for a ride sat 3-2

I started a meetup on meetup.com and posted in lucky 13 group on facebook and it looks like so far there are 5 people that want to join. I set the meet location for Morrison @ 10 am. No route set yet because I am new to Colorado and don't know many. Some people are suggesting riding to Deckers?

Sorry I posted up before I saw you all's posts so I don't want to make everyone change their plans if you guys are already set.

Haven't met there this year with a group but was ran off by leo's couple times last year. Harley guys blew the spot up for us I guess.
    Idk
I wanna ride more the two hours but could always ride more after that. Lots of where but doesn't take long for two hours to go by so it wouldn't be to far out.
    ill post more after work.

You could always do the foothills and he can break off around the 2 hour mark. MoCo has been fine so far this season. I feel the the LEO's won't run you off unless you act like an asshat.. I do remember last year a few LEO's walking around just asking people to not rev their loud pipes through town.. again - being an asshat.. lol..

So the plan for me is going to be to meet at the Conoco right outside Morrison @10 am, ride over to Golden, take Golden Gate Canyon to 119, ride into Nederland, and pick a return route over lunch.
