I rarely think of motorcycles without a little yearning. They are about moving, and humans, I think, yearn to move – it’s in our cells, in our desires. We quiet our babies with cyclic movement, and we quiet ourselves by going.

Looking forward to Sunday!
Not to hijack, but.... can someone share a riding route to bishops castle? Couple of buddies and I are riding that earlier in the weekend

Evidently even sharing vague route plans is "not the smartest move"...
Give me a break, I'd like to at least know vaguely what the route is. By that logic we should also not share our meeting locations or times... LEO's are going to show up and arrest everyone!
I get not sharing the route, makes sense to me. It's possible to post general directions without sharing the route, but that comes down to the individual. Sully also may not want to post it on the off chance they make changes.
As far as Bishops Castle, it depends on where you are coming from and how long of a ride you are looking for. Best bet would be to plug it into to google maps and just see what looks like a good ride.

Shoot a pm to Clovis he lead us most of the way down there last year. Sweet ride to. Soooo fun.
I understand not posting a route on here, but for my question I did not post a date for the ride so.... No one wants to be harassed by the LEO's everyone just wants to minimize the problems for a ride of this size especially I would think.

I'm not. Stupid busy.
HA that's funny. Have you ever wondered why you don't see many rides posted here. I ride almost every nice weekend and me nor anyone I know that used to post rides here will do that any longer. Kind of makes sense now huh.
Show up and ride......or don't your choice.
C'mon man

I have always posted routes for rides I put together and never have had an issue. To each their own.
I've got more flavor than a packet of macaroni.
Best Bishops Castle route from Denver area = Moco-Deckers-Woodland Park-Cripple Creek-Texas Creek-Westcliffe-Bishops Castle, then turn around and do the same thing back!
Also, I agree with Jmetz...not a huge deal to post a route, but it's Sully's ride so she can do whatever she wants

You may remember me from such rides as Peachfest, Durango and 4 Corners! Yes most of the time I ride alone, yeah with nobody else! You know when I ride alone I prefer to be by myself.

The Poker run will be of slow speed and costs $20 or so most likely. CSC ride will be free aside from gas a a much faster pace. I say do the CSC ride

I'll try to make it. I have work both days, but a perk of working at a golf course is we start at 5 and try to finish by 8 on the weekends.
Sounds like it'll be a pretty good time.
The weather forecast is looking worse and worse, the closer we get to Sunday.
