I threw up in my mouth looking at what those sold for. I guess that's where people with too much money go to spend it.
Looking at those collector signs, I wonder how much my grandfathers stuff is worth!?
Present: 2006 GSXR 750 (black/yellow), 2006 Yamaha R6r (blue)
Sold: 2011 Ninja 250 (green/black), 2007 R6s (blue)
It just depends on the auction, location, what day. I'm a gear head so I can watch Mecum or Barrett Jackson for hours. There's always a number of desirable vehicles that go for way less (like half or more) than it would cost to build it. I've seen cars with $10k worth of paint and body work go for $18K. Then there's the all original factory numbers matching stuff that is just out of sight and rich guy collector only.
