I relinquished the picnic duties as Bob told me he is planing on doing it this year. A pony keg is more then enough for this group.

I did?!? I was going to do it last year, but you had already started. I have some funds saved up to go towards this, but don't have the bandwith to put it together anytime soon, so if anyone else wants to take point on it, let me know.

    Re: Summer KEG-Nic

Has anyone ever tried to center this shindig around a track day or something instead of a keg? I have nothing against a Keg after the riding is done but just a thought.

Pueblo probably has some open dates and HPR may even have an open day. I remember doing a CSC day out at second creek one time and it worked pretty well.

I did one at HPR I think it was 2012, and a few at IMI. Always had someone donating time to man the grill (although it was a woman) and had a good time. Nothing better than riding all morning, having a fresh burger, and then trying to fit back into the leathers in the heat haha.

I think the CSC Q is definitely a park affair.

    Re: Summer KEG-Nic

the Kegnic was more for a Central meet up seeing most of the tracks are down south or north of the metro area.
Also more of a Bring your whole family event then HEY LETS RIDE event.
people do come in there cars, its at a park so play ground for kids, Drinking is optional not a requirement dont be the guy to beat a dead horse and preach ethics of what YOU do. you can research last years to see the 3 to 12 pages about it.

its a very low key event that everyone with a bike can come to. the track requires gear and bike work that some do no have or wish to own
If a track event is wanted im sure one can be spearheaded. i do about 10 a year with various car groups so i know its easy todo if you can get enough to confirm

So i guess Spiderman/bob has said it is Open if someone wants to full take over. Jmets did do it last year
Ezzzzy Has said Mo-door.com would help out which if you dont have one buy one its amazing

Last few have been at Clemete Park in Littleton which touches Colombine HS to give a general idea of what central has been.

and now where back to Are we going to try and do this, Dates, person in charge, place, beer, stripper pole ETC just the basics

    Re: Summer KEG-Nic

you both would choose friends over your bike. turn in your keys

and if you do a sunday Josh i will help if its a sat i may not be able to go

And the Keg issues was more of the tap didnt work, then no one wanted to drink. we did get 1/3 out of it before the tap went flat. and when we did fix it most had left for lack of sweet sweet beer
