    Fruit/Vegitable Juicer questions

Im thinking about taking a few steps back from processed foods and GMOs. Going more organic etc.

Does anyone have any experience with juicers? The difference in them and what ones are better than others?

I am thinking about getting this JUICER but thats only because it seems like its fairly good quality and has great reviews. I wouldnt be against spending more or less for the right reasons though.

    Thanks all!

I went raw for quite awhile (and need to go back), the juicer I use is an Omega 8003. The main thing you want is a juicer that extracts without heating up the fruits, veggies and such. I have heard good things about Vitamix but they are really expensive.
I've got more flavor than a packet of macaroni.

I bought this one around 6 months ago. It has treated me well so far. The masticating juicers are good about getting a lot of juice out without heating it up, which is supposedly bad. Masticating juicers are slower for juicing though, but are not super loud like the others.

It's not exactly a juicer like some of those posted, but I have a Vitamix and like it. It will turn pretty much any fruit or vegetable into juice, but has the ability to do a lot more as well. Just as an example you can quickly make hummus with a can of garbanzo beans, a bit of olive oil, and spices. One advantage when making 'juice' is you retain the whole thing (fiber included) and don't have the clean up you would with a normal juicer.

You can get a certified reconditioned one from their website which is quite a bit cheaper and still has a 5 year warranty. Amongst family members there are multiple reconditioned units and no one has had a problem.

Got this for my wife for Christmas and she has been making us smoothies every weekday for work. They are awesome. She is happy that we are finally getting a daily veg/fruit and other goodies without having to force it down.
