I just changed my grips today which made me think to throw this up since you don't see much on the subject. So a quick write up on how to change your grips using air.
For those that need to change your grips and aren't familiar:
The fastest, cleanest and easiest way to get grips on and off your bike is using compressed air.
Obviously you need an air compressor and air gun attachment for this method.
For removal (once bar ends have been removed) simply pull up the end of the grip a little bit and stick the tip of your air gun between the grip and the bar, shoot some air in and pull towards you. The grip should slide right off.
For installation work the grip onto the bar a little (maybe an inch or so) and then pull up the end of the grip that is already on the bar and stick the tip of the air gun between the grip and bar again, shoot some air, push and twist. Once you get it almost all the way on switch to the other end of the grip and continue.
This IMO is the best method for changing grips, it only take a few minutes and doesn't damage your grips.
