    You might check with the auto parts stores if you haven't yet, some of them do tool rental.
    I've got more flavor than a packet of macaroni.

    I bought one of these: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JERRES6

    It worked for what I needed. I'm sure more expensive ones are nicer, but the image quality and lighting worked just fine for me and it was $23 or something.

    Been looking at those to use at home.

    I'm spoiled at work with access to a $10k Olympus or a ~$1k Snap-on unit.

    Ended up getting by with a HF special
