That was a blast, could not have asked for better weather.

Thanks for putting it together Dave, as always a pleasure riding with you! Great to meet everyone else too, saw some old and new faces.

Thanks for posting this Dave. It was awesome watching a snake of lights going up the park surrounded by huge mins. Good ride and I did not see a single Bambi, well one but until I got to golden but it was all good.

That was a lot of fun! Next time I will not be riding my cruiser though. Between my friend's underpowered 750 riding 2 up and him getting a little freaked out by the parks roads at night we didn't get to stay with the pack. I don't know why those dark long drop offs scared him. Thanks to Tiutis for trying to sweep us.

    Will attend again!

What a ride! the best riding experience so far for me. The only thing that could've made the night better is if one of us turns to a werewolf lol.
15+ bikes on the mountain at near midnight, I bet all the cagers thought we were a bunch of crazies.

Thanks for hosting and the gas, Dave Lunch is on me next time.

Glad you had fun. I feel sorry for all those that were thinking about going, but didn't or couldn't for whatever reason. They really missed out. It's not really a ride you would want to do all the time, but it truly is a unique experience that everyone should try at least once. I'm actually thinking about trying a "new moon" ride someday.

With how bad the weather looked throughout the afternoon, I can't believe how perfect it was for the entire evening. That was exactly how a full moon ride up Trail Ridge is meant to be. I'm glad we had as many bikes as we did, but a few more wouldn't have hurt. We will definitely do it again next year.

Now someone needs to set up a big Bishop's Castle ride, before the snow flies!

We didn't even have our AK, it was a good night. Though, I think we blinded everyone else on the road but us.

Here's a couple that I took with my phone, unedited, and just of my bike.

Good to see such a great turnout, I showed up late having run into traffic on my longer I-70, Berthoud, Grand Lake route and then kept passing elk and deer so was going slow.I only got to hang for about 10 min before everyone took off. Then I had problems with my HID light and had to get that sorted so I missed the ride down too... But great to see everyone out there.

Yep, low 40's I'd say, the wind wasn't helping at all. Once you got down into the trees it wasn't too bad.
