Every time that I am driving and see someone pull up to an intersection thats going to make a left turn, I shit my pants now.

Pretty much every time I go out some ass hat is in a hurry to not stop at the stop sign, look right and start pulling out without fully looking left.

I must have been driving that route immediately before the accident and then right after everything was reopened. Had no idea that all went down. I hate that my gf is using her bike to commute to work now...

According to the story, the vehicle somehow lost control and ended up in the median, facing the wrong way. When they tried to do the U turn to get back on in the right direction....BLAM!!! And it looks like it was a Harley bagger, which would mean at least 3 lights in front. In my opinion, that car driver should go to prison, be fined more than double their net worth and basically have their life destroyed.

I heard it on the radio. Dangerous times for bikes. Everyone is just in their own world behind the wheel and in general anymore. Rude acts turn into deaths as things escalate quickly at 70+ mph.

Heard about the 2nd one this morning in Brighton as well. U turns and left turns are deadly for moto riders... pay attention, make sure they see you and be prepared to maneuver or stop if they don't.
