    September 5th. 2 for 1 at Pueblo

    Who's going?
Who wants to partner up? If you're new to the track then I will gladly take you around for a session or two and go over the basics.

Ya, I was looking to go. Wasn't sure if it was half off, or if you needed to bring someone to get the discount. I'm solo, so I could use a partner to split the entry with.

I am most likely out of this one. Ran there yesterday and the tire didn't hold up like I thought it would. But I finally broke the 1m 39s (high 1m39s but still 1:39s haha), twice only out of 10 laps.

Looked fast as hell by all witness accounts.

Just two this time. Usually 4 or so. They do look fun and sound (when running well) nice as they use motorcycle engines. Don't understand the different classes they have but many are cobbled together looking beasts that haven't proved very reliable. Sitting an inch or 2 off the pavement while propelled by a liter bike engine does look fun though.

Sorry, work has been stupid busy, and my R6 developed a ticking noise that I'm trying to fix. Bike is apart at the moment and I might not make it this weekend... if I can get the parts today or tomorrow, AND if that fixes the problem, then I might be able to make it.

Gonna go wrench and see if the new parts fix the problem... (I suspect they will). I'll check in back here in a bit... hopefully everybody can get partnered up for this!

I'm out. Bike still making that weird ticking noise, even after I changed the exhaust bearings.

Have fun, and keep the shiny side (mostly) up!

Bob, hope to see you at the next one, today was a blast. Had myself timed, this is 3 rd time on a track, any track and did 2 min, 11 sec. Hope in October to have it even lower

You're getting much better each time you saddle up! Just keep at it and the times will go down. I'd really suggest taking the superstreet with the MRA (only one left this year), race school with the MRA (next year) or the Sunset Rider Clinic. Any, or all, of those will teach you a lot about track riding and all of them will help you become a smoother, faster, better rider
When I first go to PMP last year after all my crashing and BS I ran a 2:05 lap time and now I run a 1:49, hoping for some 1:45s in the next few track days. I had a lot of instruction and I wouldn't be the rider I am today without it.

Thanks, I took the sunset last year and then this year took the Track 1 Class at HPR with ZARS. I guess not to worried about time, just want form and technique down and to trail break dammit as Nick teaches. I definitely feel better each time I go out and am enjoying it more than the mountains. Also feel safer on the track.
