Memorial Day Ride to Taos (Red River Motorcycle Run)

We left on Thursday and got back home on Monday. Great ride with undoubtedly the best riding in the state. I was on my R6 while the other guys were on adventure bike... I earned some serious street cred doing it on a sportbike

I've done a similar route, phenomenal ride! You guys missed some killer riding in a few spots, one of the big ones is not hitting 133/82 from/to (depending on your direction) Glenwood Springs to/from Grand Mesa.
I've got more flavor than a packet of macaroni.

That was our original direction but we wanted to hit million dollar hwy without a ton of back tracking... Funny thing about that was when we got to Silverthorn the pass (550) to Durango was closed for a stupid FLUCKING PEDAL BIKE event. We had to back track and go around it costing us 3 hours.

9,10 and 11 was some of my favorite riding. We were moving at a pretty fast pace since we were running behind so I think that added a bit to everything but the sweepers through there were amazing.

Yup +1 some of the best sportbike roads are on the western slope. (2-11)

Ah, good to know. I have it downloaded but have never registered an account. Maybe I will. For the most part I've been using the (now defunct) Google MyTacks and now Geo Tracker (Android) or GPS Trip Recorder (also Android).

REVER is great. Just get into the setting and turn tracking on. It will track everything including your speed.
