Looking For An Adjustable Kickstand For A 2016 R6

I need to lower Kim's bike and am not finding what I want in an adjustable kickstand. Anyone have any recommendations?

I would like to keep the safety switch and that little peg that sticks out so you can get your toe on it to put it down.

Or, does anyone know if the stock stand can be cut and re-welded. Typically, I would never try to weld cast, but if it can be done....

Is the 2015 the same? T-Rex has what you are looking for... http://t-rex-racing.com/catalog.php?item=323

Dang son, that's it! 2016 is the same. I wonder if that uses the safety switch. Either way, it has the peg and she definitely needs that.

'08-'16 should be all the same. The block at the top I believe is what engages/disengages the safety switch. We lowered an R6 for a friend and welded the kickstand just fine (don't remember what year, pre '08 though so I don't know if they are different now). I have one I just took off my race bike if you want to try it?

The block on the left (outside) of the stand is the stop. If you zoom in, you can see a "cam" looking shape on the front of the stand. That's for the safety switch. Looks like the perfect stand! Although, the disclaimer says, "item may vary".

I've got a couple rear stands and odds and ends from T-rex... everything has been well made and as advertised.
Really nice set of no-cut sliders on my old TLR.
    US Texas company as well.

I've had Jim at Racers Edge in Lakewood lower one stand, and lengthen another. He does excellent work and can do whatever you need. 303.986.2107

Ya know... That T-Rex stand is perfect. I'm really good with a welder and have a lot of fab experience, but I grew up with everyone saying you can't weld cast. I've seen some amazing welding on cast these days. I've never done it and didn't want to build something. I have become EXTREMELY lazy in my old age!

I'm going to put adjustable links on it, so the adjustable stand will be perfect. Although, on her last R6, by the time I found the parts I wanted to use, she was used to it and didn't need it lowered.

Been using my t-rex stands for the past 2 years, and they are still good.
