Memorial for Doug Heggart at the Odd Fellows lodge Longmont Saturday 8/19/2017 @ 11am

I'm sad to say that one of my best friends, Doug Heggart, died this last Tuesday 8/8/2017. He was never on here much, even back when he was active here from about 2003 on, but some of the older members might remember him. I forget what his screen name was. We rode a lot over the years.

There will be a Memorial for Doug Heggart at the Odd Fellows lodge in Longmont CO (on Main St. just North of 3rd, East side of the road) Saturday 8/19/2017 @ 11am.

I don't post here much and most likely will not be on here until long after the Memorial, but hopefully some of you old-timers will remember him and be there.

RIP brother, you will be missed......

Damn, sorry for your loss man. I read about this on 9news, but didn't know he was a member on here

CM, I know how hard that is as one of my best buddies died from cancer recently at a young age. Really makes you see how tomorrow is never promised. Keep your head up man and try to remember the good times you two had together (that is what I tell myself anyways).

Thanks guys. He was a member from way back, as I was. some of you should remember him if I could post a pic. Actually, you should remember him Barn. Him and I met you and JMetz that one time at Paco's Last stand, and hung out and partied and watched a couple bands together. Also, him and I went to the last race they had at Pikes Peak. we were part of the group from the Northern Colorado BMW/Ducati dealership (as it was known in those days) and we had access to the box and Eric Bostrom was came by our suite. I think him, me, and you hung out on top in the sun having drinks (etc.) and watching some of the racing. First I lost my buddy Greg (Subbiecat on here) to cancer (it came back) on 1/1/17, now Doug. Bummer....

I definitely remember that occasion Frank, didn't realize that was him. =\

Doesn't make the loss any easier, I realize, but I have a feeling he left lots of good memories for his friends and loved ones; this one will be mine.
