What kind of range do you have, and do you use POV when you fly?

I assume you mean FPV? And yes I do, I have had my Mavic around 5k' away up at Rampart once. I have some awesome goggles but they limit my recording res to 1280

I've hit 10,000' with my Phantom 4. Scared shitless the whole time and it's supposed to do 4 miles. I have range extenders that are supposed to go farther than that, but do you really want to find out?!?

I'm buying a Phantom 4 soon. Doesn't it automatically return home if it loses the signal?

How would you like to get roundhouse kicked with a motorcycle?

If you're going to spend that kind of money, I would check this out, it'll tell you everything you need to know. But yes, it will return.

Well... they're supposed to. I hit the return switch on my Chroma at 2,000' and it freaked out and tumbled all the way to the ground. Landed three feet away from me. Came straight down.

It sure did! The last forty-feet of the fall was through a tree. Never did find all the pieces...

Excellent picture! Not sure how I missed it until now.
So I assume having it capture an image like that is fairly straightforward instruction and then is does it automatically, is that right? About how long does it take to get it all? Seconds? Minutes?

I rarely think of motorcycles without a little yearning. They are about moving, and humans, I think, yearn to move – it’s in our cells, in our desires. We quiet our babies with cyclic movement, and we quiet ourselves by going.
