    Calling Ducati gurus

So long story short, I think the Ducati got too hot today during the Toy run, it died on my best friend and I think it fried the regulator rectifier. Bike has a brand new battery and it had no juice at all when we went to pick it up again, had it towed to the house. Have heard this is an usual problem for Ducati ( specially 1098 ) and unfortunately my bike doesn't fall under the regulator recall. Does anyone know which rectifier I could buy or use as an upgrade as obviously the OEM one is crap
