    Custom license plates

For anyone who have gotten these done, what was the time frame from application to approval of these? Plates on the R1 are due at the end of April and wanting to get a custom set, was just wondering how much of a pain in the ass the process can be or if it's even worth it, thanks in advance.

well... I have them here in Nevada. the process really isn't any different. I love mine. didn't take long to get the plates in the mail. worth it? I could live without them but they are fun.

If memory serves mine for the Aprilia when I did the process was about 6-8 weeks. You can get a temporary license plate to fill the gap while getting the custom one ordered up... that is how I remember them doing it for me. I would have transferred it over to the new bike - but it wouldn't have made sense.
...Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V.
