Cool 2018 season opener ride *cancelled*

*edit* so due to work related stuff as they want me to travel precisely during this weekend, I am scrapping this ride for the time being, sorry about that. I do encourage others to post up rides or perhaps even if someone wants to take the reigns over this one if they’d like as there seemed to be some interest. Sorry again ladies and gents but well duty calls unfortunately

Good idea. Tentatively in for tentative date.

Re: 2018 season opener ride (5/12-13 tentative date, weather permitting)

Okay let me clarify for the insanely literal here

If you want to ride spirited then well your call but things like passing on double yellow and blind corners, wheelies, splitting in and out of traffic, shit of that sort. Those who have ridden with me in the past know I don’t haul ass any longer or any of that bs but if you do that’s your call. What I don’t want is our day to come to an end early because we have to call flight for life due to someone riding over the limit. Hope that explains it. The goal is to have fun but be safe and make it home alive. If there’s people that would rather go do their balls out type ride feel free to work that amongst yourselves, I for one like my license and my insurance rates and going fast in the canyons just isn’t my cup of tea anymore. Those days for me are long gone, again we can break into groups (spirited, somewhere in between and then noobs). I can gladly sweep as I usually do and what not and if someone wants to lead the other 2 groups that’s fine with me. I’ll probably choose a noob friendly route and what not to accommodate those that are newer to this deal. Now if the riders that show up are experienced and we have no newer people then we can adjust route and such accordingly. You will hear us say this over and over again, ride your own ride, there is no need to push over the limit nor think that you’re holding the group up, we don’t leave anyone behind anyways as it’s a group ride.

I went on a CSC ride during race season to Estes Park. Didn't want to change the entire bike over, so I just put the tail on so I'd have a plate and a tail light. Every time we'd stop and everyone does their usual dicking around, I was like let's go, I can't get caught out here with no headlights. Well, that's exactly what happened. I rode two inches off Buellers right rear corner and he got me home.

Even sat next to a cop (before it got dark) at a red light and he was all checking out the bike and told me how bad ass it was. Confirmation that headlights, turn signals and mirrors are not required. LOL

like I said man, you guys know what to do, I’m just giving out friendly warnings since cops aren’t as friendly as they used to be, times have changed and mainly if we meet at MoCo you know they’ll be on the look out. I know I’m weird as fuck but well you all know how it is and mainly after those retards from the springs did their little ride up here when they blocked I25 to do their stunts and bullshit, we are being targeted even further. Again just saying and friendly reminder.

You know I wouldn't risk it. I'm too old for that sheeit. I'll see if Barn wants to go and maybe I can steal a bike in exchange for lunch and a full tank o gas.

Yeah I mean that message was more for people that are reading that have not ridden with me before or with us in general since I don’t know who is lurking and what not and no ofense but since we are going to be merging the Facebook group with this group we all know there are a ton of squids and unlicensed riders in that group and again I don’t mean to talk bad but we have been around this long enough to know how it works. I’m just giving a fair warning to those that do not know how we do things that this is not one of those Colfax shell squid meet ups, let’s go be assholes type ride. If I hurt anyone’s feelings with what I’m posting tough shit I don’t care, I simply don’t want to ride with those type of people, period. I got a motorcycle cause I love riding, not for attention and showing off. If you are reading and you’re into that type of riding then this is not for you, go do your own thing and good luck.

Re: 2018 season opener ride (5/12-13 tentative date, weather permitting)

If I’m that annoying posting this, I can gladly scrap this idea. Definitely don’t want any turmoil over this even though I’m sure there will be anyways. Just simply trying to put rides up as nobody else seems to but if someone else wants to put theirs up and do their thing their way cause I’m taking it too far and being a nazi (not based on what you said Dean, I’ve known you guys for too long so I know what you meant by that but I’m sure there are others actually thinking this in the literal sense) then again feel free to post up, I’ll desist on this idea and no hard feelings whatsoever. End-o story.

    Dang dude! A little sensitive?

I was going to post this morning that we're just kidding, but decided it would be more fun to see how bad you get. I guess it worked....

Now, Chadwick, on the other hand, is a total squid and there's no way I will ride with him.... EVER!!!

Once again I’ve ridden with you guys for years to get butthurt at anything you guys say as I know it’s sarcasm about 99% of the time and it’s not you guys I’m worried about, hell we all just rode this past fall and we all had a great time. I’m far from sensitive, again it’s other people who do get butthurt and blah blah blah, like I mentioned above, times have changed.
