    Lake City Run

Where: Starting at Jan's 304 US Hwy 24 N, Buena Vista, CO 81211 to areas including Lake City
    When: Sat Jun 9th 8am
Why: Why the hell not? Because motorcycles. Because I haven't done that part of the State yet this year. Because maybe Kim-n-Dean know some roads we haven't tried?

If by some miracle the CSC puts a few bikes together, I don't think the campground will want that noise running through their quite place.

There are a few places we go for breakfast. Kim will figure it out and I'll let ya know where we'll be.

    The place is Jan's.

304 US Hwy 24, Buena Vista, CO 81211

That's the address on all their on-line shit, but it brings up the wrong spot on the map.

Slumgullion Pass has a good portion of new pavement. Worth heading south out of Lake City to hit that part.

Well... we're at our camp site, but the truck is fucked up. Been throwin' codes the whole trip. Headin' out in the morning, hoping I make it home! Not getting much help from Ford....

Didn't expect a turnout but was good anyway. Jan's had good food and 149 was clean. A smidge bumpy except the pass but good enough to go back the same way from Creede instead of looping. Thick smoke from the wildfire blew in on the way back over the pass but visibility was good enough. More than usual state patrol on 24 today. Monarch is clean and smooth less a few new asphalt patches.
