Good evening lurking ladies and gents so checking in here to let everyone know that the first race of the 2023 season for the local race club the MRA will be underway this weekend May 5th and 6th at High Plains Raceway in Byers. I encourage everyone to come out and spectate, check out vendors and have some good adrenaline filled family fun and support the local race scene. The race season schedule can be found here and also posted their facebook page links as they tend to post more up to date information than on the main page or forums:

Hell if you come out to spectate as a street rider and happen to be curious about what being on the track feels like without dumping race season type money, definitely recommend you take a look at their superstreet series and or race school to get your feet wet and I guarantee you'll be hooked, you'd be surprised at how much you can learn about yourself and your motorcycle, it's a bang for the buck for not only fun but also growth as a rider. Did more than a few of these sessions through the years while I lived in CO and they were always great. Information can be found here, any questions feel free to post up or I can put you in contact with someone who can answer your questions if I can't do so:

and last but not least, the MRA is always looking to add to their safety crew. I was part of the safety crew for 10 years while I lived out there and not only did I learn a ton about racing while also making some extra $$$$ on the side but have made some great long life friends as well, my passion for motorcycles grew even further while working in these positions, it's a win win! If it's something you're interested in doing, you can find all information on the link below. Please post up whatever questions you may have about this, I will gladly answer them or point you in the right direction of someone on the MRA board who could as well (P.S - The contact information at the bottom of the page on the link given is no longer the person who leads this position, once again if you want to sign up, please post up and I can gladly send you in the right direction):

Wishing all of the MRA a very safe and fun 2023 season, hope to make it up for the 4 hour endurance weekend and hang out for a bit!
