damn I bet that machine will still start up and work! hell it can help in the repairs! :P

I'm sure it'll start up, but I doubt it works correctly. I wanna know how fast the truck was going to slice through the cement like butter like that.

I was wondering that too and even thought it might be fake. Then, I noticed the boom caught the bridge at the end of the boom and then it penetrated the bridge. The hole starts after the railing. The speed (almost any speed) of the truck just "levered" the boom through the rest of the bridge making a nice hole.Originally Posted by Dr. Joe Siphek";p="258990
That boom it bent back pretty frigin far. It'll start but that boom probably won't move.

I'll check w/ the guys here and see if they heard anything about it. We do a lot of bridges in Kansas.

Well no one here as heard of it yet, but one of our guys is driving out to Kansas right now, I'll see if he sees it. I bet we get the repair on it.

A guy I work with, Ryan, is out there right now. He talked to the state guys and it looks like King Construction out in Kansas is going to get an "emergency repair" on this. Don't know if this entails patching it, or redoing the whole bridge. But he said he was detoured through Hayes, but the west bound lanes of I-70 are still open, so he'll get to drive right through that.

I'm in my own little world, but it's ok, the people like me here.
That boom coming up thru the bridge would've been a nasty little surprise if you'd been driving up there....OUCH!!!
