Do motorcycles use standard valve stems? Same size as on a car? Looking for some metal valve stems and not sure what to buy.

There are two sizes, that are not interchangable for most bikes, so it depends which size you need. Most stock wheels on japanese bikes use .451 inch stems, assuming the wheel came with a rubber stem. Most euro bikes that come with a metal stem, and most aftermarket wheels use the smaller .327 diameter stems.Originally Posted by Devaclis";p="263043
