Any cycle salvage yards around Denver/C. Springs?

Need a part of the shift mechanism from a '98 R1 and they're backordered. Was hoping to find one off a binned R1 at a salvage yard. Any of those around here?

Good tip David -- thanks! Just called him and before I could even finish my sentence he said "nope, don't have it." So... any salvage yards around that keep whole bikes in stock? Gotta be a wrecked 98 or 99 out there somewhere....

Cool -- Steele's said they probably have one. Anyone wanna swing by and see for sure before I drive all the way up there for nothing? Here's what it looks like:

You know I have your back Paul!

I can stop in Sat., if they have it I'll even pick it up and pay for it. In return I want 5 gallons of that chili you made!

Dude, you got a deal! Actually, depending on our plans for the weekend, we may just decide to roll up that way anyway. Send me your number and if we head that way I'll call you and let you know we don't need you to go.

Either way, I'll make you all the chili you can eat next time you're down!

Well, it figures -- get all the way up there and they didn't have it, only a 2000-2001 piece which won't work. So... anyone know any other places?

Doh! Thought I posted a pic or link. It's called the "shift arm"; it's the piece that connects the shift rod to the shift shaft(?)/spline(?). Looks like this:

Sorry dude. I have an extra one off an R6, but it looks quite different (and has a different part #). I guess you already know that the part # you're looking for is 4XV-18112-00-00. Good luck.
