Crap - last minute stuff just came up - I will have to forgo my attendance this round. If anyone needs my seat - feel free to snag it.
...Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V.

THAT was one of the coolest things I have ever seen.

Seriously. I still have wood from it. The urge to somehow fashion unbent wheels and some sprockets from duct tape and string and go ride the piss outta my gixxer right now is unbearable.

I hope that comes out on DVD soon! Hell I may have a "Faster on DVD" party at my house when that happens. Not like I won't have it on repeat for a week at that point anyway!

Thanks for all who helped to put the show on!!

It was cool to hang with everyone that went and laugh at people trying to eat the hot wings before they knew how hot they really were. Yes, I laughed at myself first.

Also, I never knew much about GP racing. The movie did a great job introducing me to it.

    Thanks again!!!!

Thank you Sharon, Ralph, Bob and ALL those that made this happen... We had a GREAT time. My wife, Rose, who usually will "tolerate" me watching MotoGP on TV -- commented how she really enjoyed the film and that she now better understands the mentality of this "whole bike/racing thing"...

I think many who view this will be affected similarly. "Faster" is good for motorcyclists everywhere... THANK YOU!!!!!

PS: She REALLY likes Rossi and think Biaggi is a pouting little crybaby...

Awesome flick - can't wait to see it again! Great seeing everybody! I Had a great time!

I'd like to apologize to the people sitting in the left-rear corner of the room - I probably blew your ears off when I switched more sound to the rear speakers (I saw that it was disconnected - and turned down (guess that didn't work) - when I packed everything up) - sorry about that - I hope it didn't ruin things for you!

I am so glad everyone had a great time!

I sent off our group picture to Mark Neale the director with a big thank you. This is what he wrote back:
    ************************

    Hi Sharon,

Happy New Year to you all. Very glad to hear you had a good time - that's what we made the movie for.

The DVD will be out in March - keep an eye on the website. And let me know if you want to hold another screening before then.

    All the best,

    Mark

I rarely think of motorcycles without a little yearning. They are about moving, and humans, I think, yearn to move – it’s in our cells, in our desires. We quiet our babies with cyclic movement, and we quiet ourselves by going.
