Just picked up an enclosed trailer and want to install some wheel chocks for transporting bikes. What are people using, what do you like? Does anyone have the locking types like a Baxley? Was it worth the extra cash in your opinion?
Thanks
Scott

Cheaper...Go with the removeable Pingle.
Expensive...Go with the Strapless stands that Faster is selling. They use the rear axle and don't require straps at all.
Baxley are nice but take up ALOT of room.

As to the original post: I use plain ole Cheepo LP chocks. They are like 15-25 bucks or something.... They work great. Never had a negative experience. SOme of my buddies also use their pop chocks that run a bit more money but can be slipped in and out with ease... From what I hear they are also pretty happy with them....

What trailer did you end up getting?Originally Posted by RYBO";p="271148
I use a Pingle. It's ok... I'm thinking about getting one of the Black and Gray rear wheel chocks to use too - since my little 5x8 tends to bounce the back end of the bike around whenever I hit a bump - and the trailer is so full that it ends up putting footpegs through tote boxes, etc.

I ended up with a Haulmark 6X10 enclosed, picking it up tonight after work. Slightly used, but in good shape.Originally Posted by mra828";p="271174
Thanks for all the advice, I've had basic chocks in the past and didn't have a problem with them, just wondering if there was something better out there. I'll be looking into the strapless ones, that seems cool.
