Being the ubergeek I am I've actually been following this since pre-production/sign-off by the studios. Early information looked pretty dismal but the recent reports from insiders say its going to devestate all for next year's 4th of July weekend movie blitz (rumored it'll be going head to head against Fantastic Four pt 2).Originally Posted by Keyser Soze";p="272310
While that's all well and good the movie I'm particularly looking forward to next year is Beowulf.
Its going to be the next gen of performance capture CGI - and the early buzz is going to redefine CGI imaging.
Also one coming out this year that should be pretty cool is: A Scanner Darkly - it was filmed live action then CGI Rotoscoped the way Bashki used to do his films.
Its going to be a good couple of summers for sci-fi geeks again... that's for sure.
