Did anyone else see the chic on what I think was an R6 dressed like that and hauling ass up I-70 as we were headed down? She was towards the front (riding her own bike) of a decent sized group headed up...most of the guys were in t-shirts.

    I don't think it's gonna help.

So seriously.... are there any "after" pics? I'm assuming the MENSA didn't save that.

I think even if he saved it, they would both have some road rash...that wasn't being saved without parts of someones body hitting the ground.

The thought of them hitting the ground just makes me shiver. I'm not sure if I want to see the after pictures.

Re: What's wrong with this picture????

Perhaps there are no more pictures because the Datona slid into the path of the camera mans bike and he was busy avoiding them or running them over. The picture make me a little sick.

If that front wheel would catch the road, I would think they would be high sided in a most excellent way, which may be a worse position than they are in right now. If they avoided the cameramans bike, He (not she) may have come out with only some scraches. If she had pretty legs... she doesn't now.

At first I thought about how much I like girls with poor decision making skills. I've spent my whole life chasing them around.
But then I saw the front wheel.... Missed that the first time, Ouch!

It's sad to see something like that when we all know the damages incurred are preventable.

It reminds me a little of a post I once saw on the TSBA board. A young woman related how, as a passenger on the back of a sportbike, her visor had blown open at ~120 mph. The force yanked her off the bike and she slid, with only normal clothing and a helmet on, for over 600 feet. She said that at first, it was horrible, she just wanted to stop sliding. After the first 300 feet, she didn't care anymore and wanted to die.

She suffered complete loss of skin and muscle in some places on her body. The abrasion was so bad that some of her internal organs were exposed to the air.

She was brave enough to show pictures of herself as a warning to others to wear protective gear.

She still had a very pretty face and beautiful hair but she was no longer a pretty girl.

If you're riding without a helmet, then you must know that you have nothing to protect.

Hey Airreed - you should post the #2 pic too...where they were quite clearly over the double yellows on the curve. Just glad some poor sonuvabitch wasn't coming the other way, doing everything right, only to be involved in a head-on collision. So many things wrong here.
