I wanted to get this posted up here so everyone knew about it - if you were able to participate...
Timmay - steadfast member of the UTMC and lurker here on the CSC (though I don't know his screen name) had an extraordinarily gnarly crash on his Honda 919 a few weeks ago - requiring a helicopter trip to the hospital - busting himself up rather nicely (though already on the road to recovery).
The extent of his injuries include:
Broken left femur
dislocated right hip
broken wrist and pinke finger
dislocated / broken right shoulder
3 ribs broken
3 vertibrae cracked
level 3 spleen and kidney trauma
lacerated liver
oh yes... and...
road rash.
Some of you may have been on rides with him - He went with Jeff and I into the canyons, and I do believe he participated in a few other events here and there such as toy runs and the like...
In an effort to help him defray some of those costs for the helicopter trip and hospital costs - UTMC members have organized a poker run for his benefit. That being said - here is the information on the poker run:
