New rear tire is going on today, chain and sprockets should be here in the week. Should be good to go.

Dang, gotta help a friend move. Steamboat will be overrun with 20,000 "hippies" the whole month of July.

I will probably have to pass on this trip. Under the gun to finish a project by the end of the month.

Cycle Monkey - Since we are both in the same town, how about a quick run up the Thompson after work one of these days?

Leading 5-6 riders to Aspen on Saturday. Leaving Morrison early AM, picking up two at the Pine Junction Grocery. Hwy 285/Independence is the route. Return route up to you. Lunch downtown Aspen. Side trip to the nearby Maroon Bells. Riders in their 40's - 50's. Fun, kind, mature. Some may bring their sportbikes, more likely, their sport touring steeds. Sometimes their big dual-sports.

We're on rides like this every week or two. 5-15 riders. Two weeks ago it was Bishop's Castle, before that Six Passes One Day, etc.

Video of the Six Passes ride: http://www.farson.com/video/6passes.wmv

If interested leave a post here and I'll post final plans for Saturday. If you're interested in being on this sporty touring email rides list, send me a PM.
