I have the game but don't know how to mod it. Let me know if you have some tips!

Yep, its GP500.

Most of the bike sets will install and modify the files on its own. If you want to customize your own bike then you’ll have to download the bike you want and edit the… I think its called ‘GPParticipants.txt’ file or something like that. Pick the team you want and change the path of that bike to the one you want.
The other way is to over write the files of that bike that you want to replace with your own. Don’t forget the “physics”, part. It’s the most important. You can make a scooter perform like RC211V.
That’s all I can think off right now, I’ll have to be sitting at my computer to go into more detail. If you still have problems just let me know.

I like playing SBK2001 with the 2002 mod since they have my bike in there with the exact same paint scheme!

Hmmm... cannot even get the game to work on my new computer... I tried the XP patch too but it just freezes and I can't even get into the game... Oh well, so much for that.

i have XP pro and it works fine for me without the patch. hmmm... you want to try my copy of GP500?
