You could try Sean @ MetroPowersports, might save you some money with the CSC discount.

You can probably find a cheaper price, but make sure the different shops have the same definition for 'major tune'. Some might include checking/adjusting the valve clearances, carb/throttle body sync, etc., whereas others may not.

And possibly more importantly, find a shop that you trust will do good work on your bike -- and also that the mechanics will actually perform all of the maintenance tasks you'll be paying them to do.

The best way to make sure the job gets done right is to learn to do the maintenance yourself. If you have the time and a few tools, along with a shop manual, there's usually not much that can't be figured out.

Yes, shops have different "levels" of a tune-up. Here we offer a minor, standard and major. On a inline 4 pricing is $143.00, $227.50 and $286 plus parts(plugs, oil, oil filter and air filter if needed or service if K&N or BMC)

    The minor consists of
    oil/filter change
    set tire pressure
    lube and adjust all cables
check and tighten if necessary nuts and bolts
    adj. drive chain and lube
    top off fluids
    check brake pads
    check lights
    check for leaks
    syncronize carbs. or throttle bodies
    check compression

    Standard tune includes
    all of the above
    adjust valves

    Major tune includes
    all of the above
    change fork oil
    change brake fluid
    change coolant

I may have forgot to list a item or two but you get the general idea.

    twins pricing 97.50, 162.50 and 221.00
    single cyl. 65, 110.50, and 156.00

With discount $117/labor +$16.20 for seals and $7.16 for fork oil. If you bring in just the forks labor will be $63. I do not have the seals in stock right now. Give me a heads up when you want to bring them in so I can have them here.

Oh yeah the tune up prices above are not with the CSC discount. So take 10% off.
