    Re: wheelie school?

I was saying that there are members in the CSC that do stunt, and I get tired of reading posts from members that talk about anyone that does anything better or different than them! I don't care what anyone says, Wheelies are fun to watch, Stoppies are badass, and other stunts speak for themselves. If you can take off from a 90 degree angle with your legs over the front of your bike, you've got skills that most of us don't have.
Now I am not saying go do wheelies down I-25, or do stoppies in the middle of traffic, but I am saying.....
Have fun, live life to the fullest of your abilities, and don't stop "stunting", because, I want to watch!! Just do it safely and at least wear a helmet.

    DK,

Should be pretty easy on the zx10.....

Here is a recipe for you:

    get going in second gear

when you get to 4000 RPM open the throttle

I can assure you that you WILL wheelie.

intresting, intresting...too bad some of the people here can't seem to see this aspect of life. I for one will live my life how I please regardless of how many people on this board talk trash about where and when I do what I do.

    Re: wheelie school?

Dk.. WTF the 1000rr had no problem power wheeling up here bone stock, then when i got the PC and the pipe it was smoother...and whenever the snow and ice leave i am gonna take out the bike and see how it does with the sprocket conversion....should be able to get it up in second.....

But back to the thread.... Why is it that so many people bad mouth people that like to do wheelies??? You say that you dont do crazy stuff like that, you just take the bike through the twisties...well i am here to tell you that it aint much safer hauling ass through the twisties! if you low side in the wrong corner ....well you have a long fall, or a hard impact with the mountain! Also i had a experiance here a few omnths ago...where a truck was coming down the mountain and took a corner too fast and cmae over into my lane, i had no choice but to either get hit, go over the mountain or to lay the bike inot the side of the mountain... NOw i had to make a decision real fast on what i was gonna do, so i picked the dirt section of the mountain and down i went...didnt hurt the bike...thank god for frame sliders..Ok so now tell me that a person who is capable of makin split second decisions, is stupid and incapable of "stunting" so now why do you dowhatever you do on your bike...i.e. twisties excessivley breakin the speed limit or "stunting"? because it is fun and that is what you like to do on your bike...Well you know what i like the twisites, but i also like to wheelie my bike .... so just think about that next time you go to rag on somebody doin a wheelie, every person has there own thing they like to do....and that person may not think that what you do on your bike is exactly safe either.

Damn, I can't believe there are still idiots out there who think because they don't stunt, that it is the wrong thing to do and there is no place for it. Wake up and smell the coffee. If stunting is such a bad thing, then why is it becoming a multi-billion dollar industry, and why is the fan base so huge in our country? I am sick of you dumba$$es who think that just because someone "stunts" that they can't ride anywhere else. Let me hear one of you call me a stunna who can't ride, I bet I can shut you up REAL quick on the track or canyons. The challenge is open to you stunter haters. Let's see what kinda skills you can bring to the table against me. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA
