    Scorpio Alarm

    Hi,
I just installed a top of the line Scorpio SR-I500SW alarm system on my bike and can do the same for you for $100.00 plus the cost of this unit. Fay Meyers wanted $200 to $300 to do this install. I found the SR-I500SW for less then an ebay "buy it now"! $329.00 shipped. So post up if you want to protect your baby!!!

    Re: Scorpio Alarm

Two T-tap connectors are installed for the lights, and if you get the anti-hijack option you have to cut the two wires going to the ignition coil to splice the module in. All my connections are made on the component side. For example if there is an OEM connector between the harness and the igniton coil or the lights I will splice in on the ignition coil/light side rather then the harness side. The idea being that it's easier and cheaper to change a coil or a turn signal then repairing or replacing a wiring harness! This is what I did with my installation, although the instructions call out for a wire on the harness side. Hope this helps!!!
