    Nope,

    No track out there.

    Tracks in Colorado:

IMI- See video for a good idea of what it's about

Pueblo- Longer track, a little over 2 miles around, long front straight, nice layout

La Junta - Much shorter track, sub one min lap times for the faster guys. Only one left turn in the whole circuit. Is not currently open for open track days.

Nice videos. Great job taking it to the track!

Nice video of IMI! I have some video of me on that track and it doesn't look that good. Such a small track, but still alot of fun...glad you guys got out and enjoyed it!

And I agree, Bassil you're a tool. Every post I have read of yours is just negative. I'm starting to wonder why you even post? Maybe because you need attention?

Not sure how to do quotes on here... so,
    QUOTE:
Pixel: you need to get yourself down to a track day in Pueblo so that you can get out of 2nd once in awhile
    END QUOTE:

I certianly agree. Without getting into the thick of it, I crashed my R1 earlier this year, and after reviewing some pics after a day ride in Squaw Pass, I realized that even though I was hanging off the bike durning turns, I was not leaning the bike over.

With help from Jay, we went to a huge local parking lot, and I practiced my turns until I could get a knee down in both directions. That helped a lot in rebuilding my confidence in both myself, and my bike.

From there we moved onto this baby track, which basically has taken it to the next level for me. The slowest turn on this track, is basically the fastest I could take a turn in the lot, so it's kinda step 2 in the progression of taking steep turns faster.

I am highly interisted in going to a bigger track after I am confident in myself on the IMI track. Again, progression.

It sounds silly, but the practice in the lot alone was well worth the time, and it made me much more confident in going to IMI without knowing what to expect. The people that run the place, and the people that use the track are very chill, and it was not the high anxiety enviornment I expected. Which is good. Their rules are very simple. You must wear a helmet. Follow the indicated track direction. Pass in the straights. Simple enough.

I like this track because I feel that even a beginner rider can get onto the track and not have to worry about what others will think of them, if they are going fast enough, etc. Nobody tells you when to get on the track, and nobody tells you when to get off. It's all at the riders discression. I like that.

The jist of it is, it's only 25 bucks a day, and after speaking with the owner, if we can get a group of 15 people together, he'll drop it down to 20 bucks each. IMI is open from 10am until dark, so pretty good bang for the buck. It's about 20 minutes north of Downtown Denver.

I know we are getting a group together for Monday, and another I believe for Wednesday this coming week. So if it happens to be 15 people, expect to spend 20 bucks for the day. (Roughly 10 hours available... You'll be cookie dough after 2.)

I guess if anyone is interisted we can coordinate it here. I know I'll be there.

    Ok, I'm long winded here.

    So that's it.

Who wants to go chill out in the kiddy pool on Monday?

    Yes...Sir!
The Denver PD uses it for their driver training. Lot 4 or runway 4 was used back in the late 90's for autocrossing and ProSolo events before the Denver peeps "wanted" the spread for themselfs. *slight bitterness*

Go to a real track, such as Miller... I heard Miller is the shit!

Nice vids Donovan! Wish I was there that day but I will see you Monday.
The video isn't a very good fun gauge. Way more fun than the video could ever convey. Biggest benefit is, no dudes on 10 speed threatening to throw water bottles at you.

Negative ppl suck. Everyone I've meet from CSC have been really cool but I am leaning towards going the other way if I ever see a green 998.

Nice video....IMI was my first track experience and still enjoy going out there once and a while. Its close and cheap and since we lost all of our tracks lately its almost all we have. Great place to work on corners and technique in a controlled environment. Might try to make it out there next week for some "knee" time.

That's what it's all about! I don't consider it a good day unless my key ring is all beat to hell.

Well 200mph will do it too.
