well it may not be real old , but my favorite (and i wish i had one ) a 72 h2 kawi 750 triple 2 cycle. man at sea lavel that bike was crazy shit....mine was bored out 60 over rejetted to burn alc. and had wheely bars.. it was the most un rideable bike i have ever been on , but it sure was fast. 0 to 125 faster than i have ever been in my life, one scary ride .. i ran from many of the boys on that bike. i read somewhere that that bike killed more guys than any other.
on one sunny sunday morning i almost got my turn.. soon after i sold it to a guy that was about 5'5" and i think he killed himself on it about 6 months later.
funny part was i told him i would not sell it to him... he literally through a fit in my front driveway so i sold it to him... r.i.p.
    he was warned.
sure wish i could get my hands on one that is cherry. i hear they are still drag racing them in texas.

btw what to hell is fly boy doing in here ... you aint old... and neither is your gay ass bike...lol

Re: Favorite FOB (Friggin Old Bike)?

Some one was selling a couple of H2's on Craigslist a few weeks ago. He said that one ran and one was a parts bike. I also know where there is quite a few bikes for salvage, if you were to pick one up and needed parts.

I saw this cool bike, Royal Enfield, parked out behind my office. I don't know too much about it, though.

It made my list too, had one for a week and traded it for a Kawi 900.

Saw one down at Faster motorsports when we dropped off Dana's Hawk this Friday.
It was buryed behind a bunch of other bikes, don't know if it's for sale though.

I've been trying to find a 1976 125 YZ. This was the last year of the YZ with a metal tank. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.

Re: Favorite FOB (Friggin Old Bike)?

This was a fun one but almost worthless to actually try and ride and go anywhere. Top speed was about 50 on a good day.

Other past bikes that I can remember that were fun.

    Yamaha DT1B
    400 MZ
Kawasaki H3 (did I say fun, I meant terrifying)
    Vincent Black Widow
    BSA 441 Victor
    Husky 360CR
    Yamaha RD5
    BSA 650 Bonneville
    Honda 305 Dream

Dang I can't remember back that far.

I want to do something like this with my 73.

But for bikes I have actually owned, I really miss my 89 250 Ninja. Yeah I know, but it was my first sportbike. I also loved my old Kawi LTD 454. Much quicker than it looked and as rugged as a truck.
GSXRScott made me follow him into that corner,...down that hill...there was the time up that washout...crankcase alley...man I gotta stop following him.
