I have it up off the ground and have loosened the axle clamp bolts, but I don't have anything to loosen the axle.
Any suggestions?
Buy tools?
...
Get a large cresecent wrench, or more properly, the correct-sized ratchet.
I have a tool you can use to get that off.
Apparently, it's universal. It's at my house if you want it, or I can bring it around with me tomorrow.

If Ralph's tool is inadequate, you can use mine.

Well shit dude, with all these guys offering you their "tool" you should be set.
Mine has 3 sizes. I don't know who made it, you just use the one that works for you and turn it with a ratchet that fits one of the other two. (you'll see.)
I'll verify the sizes when I get home, I can't remember, but I am pretty sure 22mm is one of them.
Gotta love the GSXR600, just toss a normal ratchet on and go!
I dunno if I wanna associate with CSC if all the guys here talk about:

Good gawd! I thought this was bike tech! Not homo tech!I have a tool you can use to get that off.

My tool is more than adequate, in fact my tool can get it off 3 different ways! It is designed to be inserted and cranked with force until the desired effect is achieved, that is the shaft comes off.
So you're saying your tool is poorly constructed and the shaft breaks off?Originally Posted by rforsythe
