Ben is going to Yamaha to race an R1 in superstock. Eric is moving to a superbike.
Now, what about FX? IT was by far the most interesting of the AMA series this year and I'll be bummed if Yamaha drops it's bid there.
Frankly I've never been a Yates fan and especially not after his Daytona antics. I wouldn't be dissapointed if he couldn't find a ride, and I'd be REALLY dissapointed if Jordan hired him.

Well, if Yamaha leaves FX, it might be good for the series... It was damn fun watching Eric catch up, but it's still a single factory team entrance amongst semi-factory and privateers. I think this series would benefit from zero factory teams, allowing room for privateers to grow and actually stand on the podium. Instead of factories spreading out their riders in different classes and claiming hard earned championships, I'd like to see them all back in SBK and SS duking it out. FX and Superstock should be privateers only, me thinks...

haha Hacking is truely amazing. They said they let him go cause they could not guarantee a SB ride next year and thats what he wanted. Then they announce they will enter SB ? Wierd... There seems to be something missing? Maybe he wanted to much money to go allong with the SB ride...?????
None the less 2 of the nicest guys I have ever met in AMA racing... (Along with Zemke) I cant wait to see Eric again out there on a Yami... Go Blues Bros!!!!!

Most likely DiSalvo and Eric Bostrom already had Superbike in their contract for 2007, and they couldn't squeeze in a 3rd rider.
Personally, I would have ditched DiSalvo and had Hacking and EB ride Superbikes.
I agree with you Blue Devil. EB and BB are damn nice guys. I hope both do very well on the R1s next year!
