They've legislated everything else - it's coming for us too. The posted speed limits are ridiculous for us whether it's 25 or 65 up there in the mountains but corner speeds way in excess of 100 on public roads are ridiculous as well. You never know what is around that corner.

I hope those people stay in Georgia. I wonder how many fatal crashes occur in Colotrado mountains so far this year.

Seems like the Dragon there, just people/LEO aren't used to it yet.
I wonder how many of the 300 some motorcycle accidents actually involved sportbikes versus cruisers. You don't have to go fast on a cruiser to board out and lose control in corners like that. Esp when you have one hand off the bars to give the camera guy the thumbs up.

Yeah that is the common "loop" for the area if you live anywhere near Atlanta/Marietta etc.
If you want to go fast, take it to the track and wear proper gear!

If you want to go fast, go to the Conoco in Morrison, wear gear too!

I didn't see a very obvious link on the first page so here is the link to part deux. It's bad journalism that they didn't try to talk to any of the riders who were doing those speeds. They didn't even have an interview with any riders, rather the viewer is only given the information that the I-Team presents that they apparently read online.
Welcome to the machine...........
This is not really a new problem, just a more popular one. Waaay back in the day I used to run that route with a group I rode with. Of course Atlanta has exploded since the 80's and so has motorcycling, so of course more bikers are up there, along with more cars and you can only squeeze so much into one space before things start colliding.
